During my time at the University of North Dakota's University Inforamtion Technology department I was tasked with a variety of print and digital design projects.
Type: Graphic Design
Duration: 1 year 9 months
Print anywhere, anytime
The campus's printer kiosks were in dire need of a visual update.
The old printers worked... most of the time, but what made them worse was their old school graphics and instructions.
My goals:
Logo Exploration
I started by creating a new logo for uPrint.
Final mockups
After carefully measuring the kiosks I created print ready files. Once approved by the CIO, they were printed on adhesive backed vinyl.
Multifunction printers
New multifunction printers also recieved the new uPrint branding.
Welcome to our crib
Towards the end of my time at UIT, their new space in the library was almost finished. I was assigned with creating a mural to cover two walls in the UIT lobby. These were to speak to the mission and services that UIT champions across campus.
I created an animation in the same style of the mural to be projected in the empty space in the left wall. This further illustrates to onlookers UIT's services and purpose as specified in their strategic plan.
Master of sign arts
Digital signage was owned by UIT, so naturally I created digital signs to help advertise their services and events.
